De blokken voor de maand maart zijn Stamppot en Kers. Stamppot met een kuiltje jus, (met de rookworst uit aflevering 2) hoort nog echt bij de winter, de Kers kijkt al vooruit naar het voorjaar.
De Kers is op dezelfde manier gemaakt als de Appel uit aflevering 7. Ik zal de beschrijving van de werkwijze hier niet herhalen, ik geef alleen de foto en de patronen.
De patronen:

Stamppot Blok - Vegetable Mash with a Puddle of Gravy Block
The blocks for March are Cherry and ‘Stamppot‘ which is vegetable mash.
Mashed potatoes with vegetables are a staple of Dutch winter food, traditionally served with ‘rookworst’ and a gravy pond in the middle. (This is what the text below the plate means ‘with a gravy pond’). You may recognize the word ‘Rookworst’, it is a previous block (part 2) in the Dutch Delights BOM.
The Cherry block is already looking forward to spring. I made it in the same way as I made the Apple block in part 7, so I won’t repeat the instructions. I am just giving you the picture and the patterns.
